Esemka Digdaya Car: The Senior High School Car
The new creation of Mobnas (Mobil Nasional) slowly but sure emerging. The variants of the Mobnas car are vary, such as Komodo for plantation area, Arina and GEA as micro Car and right now there is a pickup car created by senior high school special program (SMK) called Esemka Digdaya.
Esemka Digdaya is pickup double cabin car developed by SMK 1 Singosari Malang by using engine ex Timor 1,500cc. The times used to make this car was about 3 months only all worked by the student.
Actually the Education body of Indonesia has boosted to develop Esemka car. Actually not only pick up type, there are several types of Esemka car developed such as SUV, Sedan, pick up single cabin and van.
The schools that participate to develop Esemka car for instance SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Borobudur Magelang trusted in design and body, while for developing engine developed by SMKN 4 Jakarta and SMK 1 Cibinong.

I think it’s a glorious idea & effort to bring a car that deliver national pride.
Because the product will position himself as accelerator of ‘old’ Indonesian’s commodity which average are raw material only.
If ESEMKA is really planned to face that vision, there are several appropriate strategic needed to bring this product smoothly into the Indonesia car segmented market. This is a truly smart and creatives challenge.
Realise that world of dynamic automotive in Indonesia are already patterned by other country culture, this will be additional challenge to educate baby boomer of indonesia car market too.
All the ESEMKA creativity effort have to represent not only the product itself but all function industry effort which are have a appropriate scope or scale to be a player in automotive design & industry.
Integrity of the vision of the team should be able to demonstrate the accuracy of the relation of time or era of these products will be launched in the market.
Without the full maturity only ESEMKA premature ejaculation brilliant ideas of late, I really did not expect it happen always.
Keep working there no finish line …automotive is an anthusiasm to bring better living quality a step further.
